You can donate shares of stocks to Southern Plains Land Trust. This is a great way to make a difference and help gain ground from prairie wildlife.

When you plan to make a gift of stock, please notify staff at splt@southernplains.org so that we can properly thank you for your generosity. We can also help answer any questions you may have about the donation process.

When gifts of securities are received, our policy is to sell the shares immediately. You will receive an acknowledgement letter for tax purposes based on the value of the sale.

Certificates Held by the Donor

Deposit the actual certificates into your brokerage account with a letter of authorization giving instructions to transfer the securities to:
